I had to do an iPhone factory reset because before I changed the main email address of an Apple ID from a non-existing email address to a new email address, the user of the iPhone didn't sign out (by going to Settings -> iTunes &amp App Store -> tap on the field says 'Apple ID' -> click Sign Out). But before doing a factory reset, I need to backup the contacts.

Note: Restoring from iTunes backup will also restore the old Apple ID.

In this scenario, I'm using a Windows 7 computer with iTunes 12.1.1 installed and an iPhone 4S.

To summarise the restoration, I will be backing up the iPhone using iTunes, then extract the contacts from the backup using iBackupViewer. Import the contacts (VCF files) to Windows Contacts. Restore iPhone, setup as new iphone, disable automatic sync then sync contacts from Windows contacts. Then sign in on iTunes and iPhone using the new Apple ID.

After importing emails from Windows Live Mail to Outlook 2013, then importing contacts as CSV (Comma Separated Values) to Outlook, the contacts still would not appear when I clicked the To... button when creating new email.

I've also checked that the Contacts name properties -> Outlook Address Book tab has a tick on Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book

The issue was the email address was missing on all of the imported contacts because the email was not mapped accordingly. So make sure to drag E-mail Address from the left to the right where it says E-mail.

Basic principle in downgrading your Joomla from 3.3.3 to 3.2.4 can be found below.

Joomla 3.3.3 requires a minimum of PHP 5.3.10. While some of our Joomla websites are hosted on an SME Server Contribs v 8.0, the latest update of PHP is only version 5.3.3 and have no plans of updating it on version 8 I believe.

• Backup your website folder because we will be needing the components folder later
• Backup your database, then drop the table if you want to use the same database name
• Download Joomla v3.2.4 then install it as normal using the existing database credentials
• Copy all of your images to yourwebsite/images, same with the templates/templatename
• Re-install all of your modules
• If you will get ‘404 not found’ error when accessing a particular component from the control panel, then copy the content of the complaining component folder (eg. jshopping) from the backup to yourwebsite/administrator/components/jshopping/

• Inside your default template (eg. templates/templatename/css/), create a file name called editor.css, and add an import lines importing your current template’s css files.

  You may need to modify your body background if it's not white.

• Go to Extensions -> Plugin Manager -> Editor – TinyMCE, make sure Template CSS classes is on, then type editor.css on Custom CSS classes

If you can still log into Magento’s backend, you can easily modify the base URLs of the site via:

System -> Configuration -> Web (Under the General section) -> Unsecure

There change the Field "Base URL" to the new domain.

System -> Configuration -> Web (Under the General section) -> Secure

The "Base URL" field should match the site’s domain.

But, if you cannot access the backend anymore, you need to modify the URL within the database thru phpMyAdmin if you have one configured.

dfGallery error Invalid cURL response when accessing Admin control panel and Invalid JSON Data on website page itself.

Current installation: PHP v5.3.1, MySQL v5.1.41, dfGallery v2.0, mod_rewrite & cURL modules are loaded

1. Copy your netlogon.bat (or batch file) to C:\Windows or any other folder.
2. Open regedit.
3. Navigate to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
4. Create newString Value and name it Logon with a data C:\Windows\netlogon.bat
5. Exit Registry Editor
6. Log off then log in to test it.

No mail icon on Windows 7 Control Panel???

To fix, click Start -> Run -> type c:\Windows\SysWOW64\control.exe mlcfg32.cpl

The Mail Setup - Outlook dialog box should now display. You can now setup your Exchange account or add another Profile.

I successfully installed Internet Explorer 7 (standalone) from this link http://tredosoft.com/IE7_standalone on Windows 7 and but got this error after opening it the first try.

The procedure entry point PathMatchSpecExW could not be located in the dynamic link library SHLWAPI.dll.

Restarting the computer, changing the compatibility to "Windows XP SP3" and running as Administrator didn't help.

After repairing my Windows XP Prof SP3 installation, I had an issue with my sound. There was no volume icon in the taskbar & I couldn't install Microsoft UAA and I found out none of HD audio/modem devices where recognized even after installation of the correct drivers from the motherboard manufacturer because of the wrong UAA.

This fix from http://www.boredsysadmin.com/2008/03/windows-xp-sp3-and-microsoft-hd-audio.html solved my issue.

If updating the UAA doesn't fix your issue, you may want to try this fix http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T61-and-prior-T-series-ThinkPad/No-audio-device/m-p/15874#M5711. It was instructed below.

I was trying to install Windows SBS 2008 (64-bit) for testing purposes, but I kept receiving this error "VT-x is not available. (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX)" from Virtual Box everytime I tried to Start the system.

I enabled Hardware VT from the BIOS (under Security menu) and restarted the computer - still the same error.

I disabled Execute Bit from the BIOS - still the same error.
